The Pre-K program is theme-based. Four year olds are excited and enthusiastic learners, consequently we reach out to them with a variety of methods. We want to nurture their social, cognitive, emotional and motor growth and at the same time help to develop a strong sense of Christian values. Through the use of dramatic play, writing corner, library, art center, science and math centers the children are able to develop their individual abilities and learning styles.
We are now using a new literacy program, by Scott Foresman which encourages children to explore letters and their sounds, oral language, shared reading and comprehension.
It is always exciting in Pre-K!!!!
